Sharing HomExpert Insight with Delaware County Chamber of Commerce

All news is local. A common phrase in politics. Also, very true.

We make every effort to share HomExpert Market Report data with everyone. The national media tends to spin things from the worst of markets. Las Vegas and parts of Florida and California and others have no doubt suffered from the housing market collapse. But the Greater Philadelphia area has long been a different kind of animal and has not seen the kind of pains experienced around the country.

As we’ve said before, this web site and blog are the next level of spreading local data to more people. But we continue to offer seminars and lunch-and-learns to area chambers of commerce to directly provide relevant information about immediate local markets. Many chambers have embraced our data because it gives their members a real insight.

This past Tuesday, Prudential Fox & Roach, REALTORS’s senior vice president Steve Storti was invited to present at the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce.

We posted the presentation Steve provided in the Region section of HomExpertReport.com. If you’re chamber of commerce or local organization would be interested in your own localized presentation, we’re always happy to make the time.

In other news, I hope everyone had a chance to check out Alan Heavens’ article yesterday in the Business Section of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Keep an eye on the HomExpertReport.com “Industry News” section on the home page for other links to other great articles.

Welcome

Welcome to the Prudential Fox & Roach HomExpert Market Report blog, which is a companion to the HomExpert Market Report web site. We look forward to providing you with local commentary to complement current trends while also trying to relate larger national issues to your own back yard conversations.

From time to time, we will include guest commentary from experts around the region and direct you to articles that we think might help illuminate important points.

When we created and distributed the first Prudential Fox & Roach HomExpert Market Report book in January 2004, we tracked only the counties in Greater Philadelphia Region. Last year we expanded to include the Lehigh Valley region.

Until now, the data was offered exclusively to the press and business organizations with an interest in accurate, more timely real estate data. However, you may have read about our HomExpert Report in your local newspaper or referenced, perhaps, during regional broadcast news segment.

Recently, we decided it was time to make the reports available online to you. We hope you bookmark the web site and blog or take advantage of the RSS feed options. This is the best place for relevant regional real estate market data and information.
